night when Manchester United FC won.

Thomas Müller drove in the opener in the 17th minute before Claudio Pizarro doubled the advantage shortly after with a powerful header. top-flight Hertha BSC Berlin with a 3-1 win. Eintracht Frankfurt avoided
a similar fate with a 2-0 victory against VfL Bochum 1848 and Matthias
Ginter and Mike Hanke struck for SC Freiburg in a 2-1 win against VfB
Stuttgart 2-1.
