The
biggest developments to be revealed in the first of this month’s
stadium updates are the installation of the pitch at the Maracana
(above) and the completion of work at the Arena Fonte Nova, the third
FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 stadium to be completed after the
Castelao and the Mineirao.
The Stadium and the other two
will stage games at this June’s Festival of Champions: the Arena
Pernambuco in Recife and Brasilia’s Estadio Nacional.
